Overwhelmed

Cleaning and packing, moving and shaking
I used to clean to avoid writing, but now I am writing to avoid cleaning
My parent's house grows emptier with each box

  1. I know the feeling. Several years ago, my husband and I were going through my mother-in-law's house. There was so much to do and it took us three years to get to it and a summer to actually go through it with his brother and his wife. Writing can be a healing aid to help you deal with what you have to do and work through it. You wrote it well in just a few words and I knew what you meant. All the best to you. Keep writing! It is good for you and it will halp you get through it.
